AT&T and Nokia come together for Nokia Surge

There were rumours of a phone called the Nokia Mako but that name was not accurate. Nokia has now shown us the rumoured phone and it is called the Nokia Surge. The Surge will be offered through AT&T starting on July 19th. The phone has a bright screen on the front and a full QWERTY slide out keyboard for easy texting. The phone runs the Symbian S60 operating system and was designed as a social networking phone. It easily lets users post messages, images, videos, and comments to web sites like Facebook on-the-go with the pre-installed JuiceCaster application. Check it out later this month.

Looking back at 20years of Nokia

In the latest “Nokia Conversations” video they have managed to go back through the 20year history of Nokia and show just how far cell phone technology has progressed. In this video full of way too happy people you will see a phones from way back 20 years ago all the way till now. This is a fun walk down memory lane and gives those Nokia buffs a chance to guess which model is which just based on its looks. 20:20mobile offers replacement guarantee on Nokia phones

A new 24 hour replacement guarantee for Nokia handsets will be coming to cell phone distributor 20:20mobile. The new deal called “Premier Partner” is set to launch in August and will offer a 24 hour replacement for any faulty Nokia phone that was purchased in the last 18 months. The new program will also offer dealers a chance to buy mobile phones using their credit card. This will help some dealers who do not have a credit deal with their current supplier. The Premier Partners will be required to pay a administration fee that is set based on the number of units bought in the last quarter.
