Nokia has stated in its website that it is planning to release the Nokia C6, E5, and C3 smart phones in the US markets. The tentative price range has also been released and it is as follows: The E5 for $129, the C6 S60 powered phones for $259 and the C3 phones for $309. Though the phones can be preordered the shipping dates are not given. Nokia has decided to jump aggressively into the Smartphone segment and if market estimates from Research firm Strategy Analytics are to be believed the global market of smart phones has increased by 43 percent. According to the market analysts the share of Nokia’s Smartphone has increased by 40 % and a unit sales of 24 million pieces in the second quarter.
